AGENCY MARKETING
MARKETING MANAGER // MKG
If you want brands and people to trust you as the go-to creators of memorable experiences, the cool kids who know how to tap into and create culture, the ones who know what it takes to build buzz - well, you gotta do it for yourself too.
So as the Marketing Manager at MKG, I put my storytelling creativity to work for a brand I knew better than most , telling our agency's brand story and showcasing our POV through all sorts of experiences and touch points - from reimagining business cards, to clever campaigns for the holiday season, and epic summer parties for clients, partners and friends. I helped build a culture, got a ton of press and had lots of fun while doing it so here are some of the highlights
MKG-WEE's PLAYHOUSE
When I showed up to our annual summer party brainstorm with a toy model of Pee-Wee's Playhouse - an artifact from one of my childhood obsessions that was somehow still in my closet (read: hoarder) everyone's eyes lit up with the same excitement that I had. This was the perfectly quirky and nostalgia-filled theme for our party.
HOLIDAY CAMPAIGN: PRISTINE BALLS
New York is the city that has it all. But come holiday time, there’s one thing New Yorkers just don’t have - pure, packable, fun-tastic SNOW. Thus was born our holiday gift to the city - Pristine Balls, “New York’s Only Filth-Free Snowballs.”
To spread the word we created a whimsical video teaser to let clients friends and fellow New Yorkers know when, where, and how they could get their hands on a pristine ball. Then we hit the streets. With a branded truck and a team of jolly MKGers, we handed out Pristine Balls (pre-made, perfect snowballs) and created a whole lot of holiday cheer…. some good buzz too.
more summer party fun…
